ICS 300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents

Aroostook County Emergency Management will be conducting an ICS 300 course at the Caribou Courthouse at 144 Sweden Street, Caribou.

Day 1 Tuesday, April 5, 2016             8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Day 2 Wednesday April 6, 2016         8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

*Participants MUST complete both days for ICS 300 to receive credit for training

AUDIENCE: Targeted students are those who will have a leadership role in the incident command system including Law Enforcement, Firefighters, EMS, EMA, Schools, Facilities and Government Officials.

These courses will provide training on expanding incidents which may extend into multiple operational periods. ICS 300 will include unified command, incident/event assessment and objective development; the ICS planning process; incident/event resource management, transfer of command and demobilization.

Pre-requisites is required to attend ICS 300:

  • IS 100: Introduction to the Incident Command System
  • IS 200: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
  • IS 700: Introduction to the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
  • IS 800.b National Response Framework, An Introduction

Lunch will be provided.
