National First Responder Day –
We want to take a moment and thank all the first responders in Aroostook County, The State of Maine and The United States of America.
National First Responders Day is observed annually on October 28th to honor and thank the men and women who are the first on the scene in emergencies. The day recognizes firefighters, police officers, paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, Emergency Management and other public safety professionals for their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting communities. The day was officially recognized by Congress in 2017.
Thank you all for what you do, everyday….year round.
